Piano Haiku Variations (2006)
The five-seven-five syllable structure of Haiku poetry is projected onto the black and white keys of the piano keyboard. Different starting positions of the left and right hand result in eight variations, which together cover the entire range of the piano. Both the number and order of the variations played is left up to the interpreter.
'Piano Haiku Variations' may also be performed using four hands, on either one or two pianos.
